Last year Naya and me we got a request to make a 13 page large format calendar for 2021. Calendars are what I love to make. It is exciting. This time it was for a company producing leather bags and accessories. It always take time to make a calendar. After we finalized the concept and design we had to find a shooting location. And I like when locations are breathtaking. In this case they inspire me, share their power and energy. And we found that. Salty lake on Crimean peninsula. Simply captivating view. But the water surface is not good enough to make a picture, there should be something extra to attract attention. And in our case it was the remains of destroyed old pier. The light was so good that we managed to shoot the whole set including extra takes for only 6 hours, which was pretty fast. My muse and model Naya Crime, Russia October 2019.
